Note: The Melrose Café is our exclusive catering provider. All food and beverage consumed in Melrose House must be arranged through Melrose Café. That said, you won't be disappointed!

Drawing Room and Parlour

Accommodates 50 seated at tables, 100 for cocktails or wine and cheese.

For meetings or presentations, theatre style seating, the Drawing Room accommodates up to 80. This leaves the Parlour for small break out groups, a smaller presentation or meeting, or for food and drink set up. Fabulous on-site catering is provided exclusively by the Melrose Café and is an additional cost.

Half day: $350 +GST

  • Half day = 9am-1pm or 2pm-6pm

Full day: $500 +GST

  • Full day = 9am-6pm

Evening: $400 +GST

  • Evening = 7pm-11pm

 

The Boardroom  and Library

Have 'More Than a Meeting'  at Melrose in either of our two upstairs  rooms.

You can host your meeting in any venue, but why would you when Melrose offers:

  • Gorgeous natural light
  • Park-like, private setting
  • Delicious on-site catering from the Melrose Café

All of that in a beautiful, historic Nelson home.

Boardroom: $200/$250 +GST (half day / full day)

  • Historic boardroom table seats 12 
  • Room for additional tables and/or seating in alcove

Library: $100/$150 +GST (half day / full day)

  • Table seating for up to 6 people
  • Room for additional tables and/or seating

Hire the Boardroom and Library together to facilitate breakout sessions and have the first floor all to yourself.

Full House for all day and evening : $900 +GST 

  • Note this excludes the portion of the House occupied by the Melrose Café. The Café space can also be hired for an additional fee by prior arrangement.

Melrose House now comes with free WIFI and an Ethernet port in the Boardroom
